A new month has arrived, which means that it’s time for a fresh update of the Eater Dallas Heatmap, a monthly guide to the city’s hottest restaurants intended to answer the age-old question: “Where should I eat tonight?”

July’s update to the Eater Dallas Heatmap brings the addition of hot new Argentinian steakhouse Corrientes 348, along with Slater’s 50/50 and Don’t Tell Supper Club. As always, a new month means that it’s time to say goodbye to some newly-opened favorites, like Yayoi and Stellar.

It’s long been a smoked meats fave in Dallas, but now Cattleack Barbecue is officially one of the top three joints in the state according to Texas Monthly’s much-coveted rankings. The lines are already longer, but the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and smoked bologna are 100% worth the wait.
